Mountain biking has become one of the most successful and practiced sports in the region due to the many tracks available in the hinterland of Lake Garda, in Veneto region. The key destination for more experienced bikers are on the mountains surrounding the lake.
In particular, the mountain trails in the Trentino sector of the lake, in the environs of Riva del Garda, Arco and Torbole, Mount Brione, the uphill hike to Lake Ledro. Thanks to the ”Malcesine-Monte Baldo” cable-way, bikers can easily take their personal bike with them to practice mountain biking with their own equipment.
Mountain biking is one of the most popular sport activity in the area of the Garda Lake and are held very often many important ragional, national and international event and competitions. Each year from March to June three important mountain biking races are taking place. In March, the Bardolino Cross Country race, in May the La Messa race and in June the Monte Baldo race. All of them are prestigious international events among the bike-world!!
