One of the most picturesque towns in Greece is Metsovo. Lying on the slopes of Pindus Range, in north-western part of Greece, Metsovo is a great destination for mountain activities and especially for mountain biking.
Metsovo, surrounded from one of the most important National Park in Greece and protected areas, lies in the slopes of Pindus Mountains in north-west of the country. The magnificent landscape of the region, the thick forest backed of beech trees and pines, the crystal clear waters that gush from the springs is one of the reasons which it is worth visit the area.
The other reason is for the numerous and amazing biking routes of the region. Either biking down to the slopes or up to the alpine meadows, riding in Metsovo’s trails can be a very exiting experience.
