Spirit Mountain is Duluth’s nearest ski area and offers a wide range of snow activities. Whether you are an expert or novice, snowboarding in Spirit Mountain will make you have the time of your life.
For your activity the resort offers a vertical drop of 700 ft/213 m, a base elevation of 620 ft/189 m and a top elevation of 1320 ft/402 m. Snowboarders will appreciate the famous, large terrain with jumps from 15 ft (4.6 m) to over 60 ft (18 m), and numerous rails, boxes and other “jibs”. In order to enhance your skills, a large big air bag is available. The ski area provides 22 trails, which are tailored to cover all your needs. 6 trails are formed for beginners, 8 trails for intermediate snowboarders and 5 for experts and there are also 3 Terrain Feature Areas. Furthermore, you find 5 chairlifts, 1 Conveyor Lift, 1 Handle Tow and 1 Rope Tow.
