Spirit Mountain is a ski area, located in Duluth, Minnesota. It is one of the most well-known ski areas in Duluth and thanks to its vertical rise, it is considered to be the second tallest ski hill in Minnesota.
Spirit Mountain is located just a few steps away from Duluth and gives ski enthusiasts the opportunity to get in touch with the snow environment. The activity of alpine skiing takes place every year, making many skiers cheerful.
With a vertical drop of 700 ft/213 m, a base elevation of 620 ft/189 m and a top elevation of 1320 ft/402 m, it is sure that you will have an unforgettable experience. Spirit Mountain is also known for its large terrain, with jumps from 15 ft (4.6 m) to over 60 ft (18 m), and numerous rails, boxes and other “jibs”.
In order to host both experts and novices, the resort offers well trained staff and trails, tailored for all levels of ability. There are 22 trails, 6 of which are formed for beginners, 8 for intermediate skiers and 5 for experts and there are also 3 Terrain Feature Areas. You also find 5 chairlifts, 1 Conveyor Lift, 1 Handle Tow and 1 Rope Tow.
