Bantry Bay is a natural bay that is situated in County Cork. The bay extends approximately 35 km/22 mi from northeast to southwest into the Atlantic Ocean. Mount Gabriel lies on the Mizen Peninsula, located to the north of the town of Schull and to the south of Bantry Bay. The landing point is found at 51°33’48” (51.5635)N; 9°32’41” (9.5448)W, at an elevation of 195 m/639.6 ft. Last but not least, Mount Gabriel is appropriate for more advanced pilots. Note: be careful of overhead wires in the landing fields.
