Bantry Bay is a natural bay that is situated in County Cork. The bay extends approximately 35 km/22 mi from northeast to southwest into the Atlantic Ocean, offering many interesting dive sites. Zetland Pier is located close to Glengar and it mostly accommodates advanced divers.
The maximum depth of the spot is 30 m/98.4 ft and the rocky bottom is covered with sea stars. Visibility is medium and ranges from 5 m/16.4 ft to 10 m/32.8 ft. Water temperature ranges from 7°C/45°F in winter to a maximum of about 15°C/59°F in summer and early autumn months.
