Point Peron is located in Rockingham, which is at about 47 km/29 mi in the south-west of Perth. Point Peron is a popular dive site not only for the divers but also for the snorkelers. The location is suitable for all divers. The average depth here is at 4 m/13.1 ft and the maximum is at 7 m/23 ft. Visibility is medium and varies from 5 m/16.4 ft to 10 m/32.8 ft.
It is an interesting spot with many swim throughs, a couple of large caves and some limestone reefs with an abundance of marine life. In addition, divers are able to see colorful nudibranchs, beautiful soft corals, sea anemones and sea stars. Furthermore, you can dive this site at any time of the year. It is advisable to take a dive flag, due to the boat traffic.
Finally, it should be mentioned that it is usually crowded, so if you wish to avoid the crowds, you can dive at night or early in the morning.

Built in 1873, Edithburgh Jetty is 170 m/557 ft long and 12 m/39 ft wide, and it is considered to be the most popular dive on the Yorke Peninsula, at 250 km/155 mi in the west of Adelaide, providing with unlimited scuba diving and underwater photography.
