Considered as one of the prime river rafting destinations is South Africa, Vaal River Parys offers an amazing river rafting experience with various moods for both the novice and expert rafter. The spot is approximately an hour drive from Johannesburg and level of difficulty here is graded as intermediate, operating all year through.
The rapids here range from grade 1 – 4, depending on water levels and allows for paddling between reed islands through a number of winding river channels. The rafting tour lasts anything from 2-4 hours and advance booking is necessary with a minimum pax of 5.
