Amathole is an area with stunning scenic beauty and rich in history. Located in the Eastern Cape, it has diverse landscapes ranging from mountains and rivers to beaches, forests and estuaries. Hidden gems include the majestic rainforest, which is protected to date. Indigenous forest and breathtaking waterfalls are a must see in this region.

Just 2 minutes away from the center of Grahamstown, there is the Albany Range field which offers the ultimate paintball experience. The spot is a speed-ball field with a 1.4 ha / 14000 m² bush field, trenches, tree house, bridges and rivers.

The battle is an action packed 3 hours long and operates only over the weekend. Velocity is at 270fps with 3 balls per second and the firing mode is semi-auto or 3 – short burst. The minimum number of people is 10. Minimum age limits is strictly at 10 years old.
