Maykop is a city situated on the right bank of Belaya River, which is a tributary of the Kuban. It is the capital city of the Republic of Adygea in Russia.

Lagonaki Ski Resort is a huge ski resort situated in a UNESCO natural reserve. It is one of the UNESCO World Heritage Sites and after many years and long negotiations, UNESCO allowed the built of this amazing resort.

The site is located to the north of the mountains Shepsi, Oshten and Psesho Fischt and is perfect for snowboarding. Imagine having 165 km/103 mi of pure tracks to snowboard!! These tracks are for all levels of experience and allow a lot of freeriding.

In order to get to the highest point at 2450 m/8038 ft, there are 28 lifts to serve you. The resort lies at 1609 m/5278 ft, creating a vertical drop of 841 m/2759 ft from the top station.

This amazing resort, besides great snowboarding features, also includes amenities such as hotel, restaurants, cafes, instructors, rentals, repair shop and many others, making it a perfect weekend or more snowboarding destination.
