Adelaide, the liveliest city in Australia, is the capital of South Australia state and is situated on the Adelaide Plains and more specifically at the north side of Fleurieu Peninsula. The city is built next to Torrens River and is surrounded by the Mount Lofty Ranges and the Gulf St Vincent.
Adelaide is the paradise of skateboarding lovers with many areas, dedicated to skating. Seaford Skatepark is situated on the southwest side of the city, off the Commercial Road behind the Recreation Centre in the car park – at 35 km/21 mi south west of Adelaide and this is a must-see spot, if you are around.
It is a huge park with a little bit of everything, several concrete ramps, bowls, rails, steps, fast and hard hips, vertical drops and ledges, thus perfect for transition and street skating. Slide on the rails, make your jumps and ollies off the ramps and land back again on your board, do stunning kickflips and drop-ins.
