Kuala Lumpur is a huge city with a number of district articles and a lot to offer. Literally meaning "muddy river" in Malay, it is the federal capital and the largest city in Malaysia, covering an area of 243 km²/94 mi² long. Located in the center of Selangor State, Kuala Lumpur enjoys a tropical rainforest climate which is warm and sunny with abundant rainfall, especially between October to March.
Selangor river is an amazing river forest with cool, clear water. Located at about an hour from Kuala Lumpur, it offers a thrilling white-water rafting adventure with amazing rapids and an absolutely enticing panorama. White water rafting here is an all year round activity, thanks to the Malaysia’s tropical weather. The difficulty level here is graded between 2-4 and the minimum age requirement is at 12 years-old while minimum number of pax is 4 and maximum pax is 60. Duration of rafting trip here depends on the water levels and the group size although it is normally set between 3-4 hours. Remember to get a plastic bag to put your wet clothes and always remember to use sun blocks because of the sunny heat. Advance booking is necessary.
