Shotover River begins its course from the Southern Alps and runs through the magnificent Skippers Canyon before it merges with Kawarau River. Shotover River extends up to 37 mi/60 km and has many rapids, twists and turns. It is the ideal river for more experienced rafters who wish to taste great amounts of adrenaline.

After having admired the spectacular Skippers Canyon, the challenge completes with the breathtaking 557 ft/170 m long Oxenbridge Tunnel and the Cascade Rapid.
