Situated in the autonomous province of Trentino, the village is widely known for operating one of the largest ski resorts in the area, with 23 lifts and 48 pistes. However, when the ski season is over and the snow slowly melts down, a breathtaking and blooming nature reveals itself.
One of the most exciting and intense activities taking place in the area during the summer months, is mountain biking. With a vast network of trails through mountains, wide open meadows, alpine lakes and Natural Parks, this is a unique experience. The trail is 51.3 km/31.8 mi long out and back, lasting about five hours long biking. It is a physically demanding ride as you ascent up to 1650 m/5413 ft high. However, the scenic views of the wild landscapes around you, are more than rewarding. The trail is very well marked and easy to follow with many different types of terrain, such as pavement, mud, rocks etc.
