Munich is very popular among skateboarders for its amazing skate-parks. One of them that sets high standards for many skate-parks is Hirschgarten Skate-park. It is a new concrete park that has been finished in 2010. The options that are available in this park are countless. You will find no street elements as transitions between all the awesome facilities.
The park includes the Clover pool tiles, Fullpipe, death-box, curved wall ride, stairs and pool-coping, a really good backyard pool with three pockets in different sizes. There is a little bit of vert everywhere but there is no difficulty to ride for anyone! At the big bowl, you will find many different options. The composition between mini parts and monster is a bit weird, the concrete finish is good though.
You will find a taco with approximately 1 m / 3 ft of over vert. A speed wobble is placed in front of the taco. Generally you will find a mixture of medium and low transitions. It is a great park that attracts many skateboarders all time of the year since Munich has no inside skateboarding facilities. For your own safety you should bring your safety equipment.
