Big Left or Big Joes is an exposed reef break next to Cyrils surf site. To reach the spot, park your car at the parking area, which is at the end of the Flinders Golf Course and walk for about 15 minutes. Surfers can explore the waves with swell sizes from 1.5 m-2 m/5 ft-6 ft and holds up to 4 m/12 ft.
The ideal tide position is all tides. In summer, the wind blows offshore at 17%, in autumn the wind blows at 30%, in winter at 28% and in spring at 21%. The spot is suitable for experienced surfers. Offshore winds blow from the north, northeast and the ideal swell direction is from the south, southeast. Last but not least, if you are a trekking fun then you should take a coastal walk, the Bushrangers Bay Track and get some breathtaking views over the sea. Note: watch out for sharks and rocks.
