It is roughly a 26 mi/41.84 km course, single track, maybe more suitable for intermediate athletes, most of which try this with the help of a shuttle. You need to have great strength to pull it through on your own from top to bottom and back.
The highest point is at 3200 ft/975 m and one could say that its difficulty lies in its length. It is a fun ride, mostly downhill with amazing waterfalls, lakes of deep blue water, bridges and dense vegetation. The surface of the trail is relatively smooth with an exception of some rocky parts. Some sections require technical skills and are not easy to avoid, if you are a beginner. Bare in mind that this trail is very popular to hikers as well, so be extra careful with them.
Most of the trail is open all year round and best months to visit are May to October. There are several campgrounds in the perimeter and plenty of hotels nearby.
