Lion Gulch Trail is located within the Table Mountain Management Area, about one hour away from Wenatchee. It is 2.1 mi/3.37 km long, approximately one and a half hours driving time and it is not suitable for beginners.
The trail, although short, starts with an easy hill climb, but as you go higher, you will come across several very steep uphills and descents. After that you drive onto a hummock and then towards the ridge line with some fantastic views of the mountain.
At the top of another hill climb, there is a group of large rocks you must overcome. When the weather is wet, it gets harder. Lion Gulch Trail is a fun place for 4WD lovers and it is open for motorized use, from mid June to mid October. Don’t forget to take a GPS with you.
