Icicle Creek runs through Icicle Ridge and is connected with Wenatchee River. The river run starts from Ida Creek to Snow Creek trail head. It has a class 4 to 5,5+ difficulty level and range from 700 to 2000 c.f.s. The river is great for expert and advanced kayak enthusiasts with many challenging sections.
The run starts with a class 3 warm up and builds up to class 5 conditions as the water builds up. There are many drops, logs and a sequence of beautiful huge granite boulders to avoid and flows with big hydraulics that get developed along the way. Icicle Creek is definitely an extreme kayaking location.
