Wenatchee Heights Route starts from Squilchunk Rd, ten minutes away from Wenatchee Town. It is 30 mi/48 km long, (loop ride), with an elevation gain of 3000 ft/914 m. The difficulty level of this ride is in category one, not suitable for beginners.
The average gradient of the terrain is at 7% and the maximum at 15%. The road goes mostly uphill with possible rough pavement in some sections, so bicyclists should be careful. It is a wonderful, loop ride, with some technical difficulties and a good physical condition is required.
You will ride through open space fields and nice views of the mountains around. Wenatchee Heights Route is a challenging ride for bicycle enthusiasts to escape the city and take a deep, refreshing breath of fresh, clean mountain air. Don’t forget to take water with you.
