It is an easy going community only 16 mi/25.8 km away from Boulder. Near Boulder lies Valley Ranch or Foothills. It is an excellent place for mountain biking. It is a great workout and it is close to Boulder. There are magnificent views of the surrounding mountains and vistas on that enjoyable beginner’s ride.

The trailhead’s elevation is 5.350 ft/1.621 m and top elevation reaches up to 5.600 ft/1.707 m. Skill level is regarding physical level, moderate and as for technical level, easiest to moderate. Trail type is out and back.
