The waters have the perfect temperature for scuba diving (warm during the summer and crystal clear during the winter), and are generally friendly and uncrowded.
Claris (also known as The Clarries), close to the West Beach in Adelaide, is actually a site with two wrecks, a 12 m/39 ft fishing trawler and an iron structure from another boat (probably a wheelhouse). The exact nature of the boats, as well as the date and cause of their sinking remain a mystery till today. The site is addressed to advanced scuba divers as there are strong currents in the area.

Gap is an exciting spot for scuba diving, located in Marion Bay, Yorke Peninsula. This spot is usually combined with the Willyama spot where a wreck of 1897 is located at Rhino's Head of Marion Bay.
