If you listen to descriptions of climbers who already tasted the heartbeating ascent of Latok II, they describe it as a 1000 m/3280 ft vertical rock wall that has a base at 6100 m/20000 ft of elevation.
For the first climb the total vertical was 2200 m/7200 ft. If this numbers scares you but still intrigues you to conquer this notorious peak, you should get advise and guidance from one of the local schools, available to offer you their services.
