Moscow is situated in Russia and it is the capital city and the most popular federal subject. It is located on the banks of Moskva River that flows for over 500 km/311 mi right through the East European Plain in central Russia.
If you live in Moscow and are a snowboarding enthusiast, there is a place for you to enjoy short sessions, the Vorob’evy Gori ski area. This small snowboard area is situated near the Vorobyori Gori metro station and the Grand Moscow State University.
The tracks are few and mostly suitable for intermediate and novice snowboarders, but always open for tricks and jumps! The area is served by 3 lifts, a T-bar lift and 2 chair lifts.
If you decide to snowboard at night, you can enjoy the incredibly magnificent view of the Grand Olympic Sports Arena of Russia aka Luzhniki. The good thing is that if you don’t want to carry your equipment, the facility offers rentals as well as qualified instructors to teach you how to snowboard.
