Moscow is situated in Russia and it is the capital city and the most popular federal subject. It is located on the banks of Moskva River that flows for over 500 km/311 mi right through the East European Plain in central Russia.

Just outside Moscow, only 60 km/37.5 mi away, lies a very popular and amazing ski resort, the Sorochany, a snowboarding heaven. If you are a full day snowboarding enthusiast, this is the place for you, surrounded by magnificent vistas and with snowboarding tracks larger than the city tracks.

There are totally 12 tracks that vary in level of difficulty, being mostly suitable for advanced and expert snowboarders. If you want to learn how to use your board or want to take it easy, there is one trail for you.

If you are an intermediate snowboarder, there are 3 trails for you to perfect your moves. If you are an expert or advanced snowboarder, you will find 4 tracks respectively, ideal to perfect your tricks and technique.

All these tracks are served by 2 seated chairlift, a 4 seated chairlift, 3×2 local towing cable car and one T-bar lift. Other amenities of the facility include creche/babysitting, equipment rentals and repairs, sports shop, lockers and nice cafes.

This resort is perfect for full day and night snowboarding and if you like night snowboarding, you can always spend the night in a hotel nearby.
