Dublin is the capital city of Ireland and it nestles at the mouth of the River Liffey. The climate here is classified as a maritime climate, usually with cool summers and mild winters. This vibrant city is noted as much for its Georgian buildings, museums, theaters and attractions, as for its leisure activities and adrenaline-fuelled adventures.
If you are a mountain bike lover, then you should come to the right place! Ballinastoe Mountain Bike Park offers 14 km/8.7 mi of purpose built mountain bike trails and accommodates the more adventurous mountain bikers.
Approximately 9 km/5.6 mi of the way-marked loop is single track with some narrow and steep sections. On these sections, the terrain is a mix of mud, rocks, roots, gravel and loose stones. Keep in mind that, it may become slippery in wet weather. In addition, the single track features loads of ups and downs, long climbs and tight turns that test your skills. The remaining 5 km/3.1 mi of the way-marked loop contains wide forest roads, where bikers should be very careful of other forest users.
This location is suitable for more experienced bikers of reasonable fitness. Finally, there are highly qualified instructors to help you with everything you need, in order to have an unforgettable experience.
