Ray City is a city near Valdosta, where you can find one of the most awesome off – road parks. Possum Creek ATV Park is situated a couple of miles south of Ray City and is perfect for Four Wheel Driving.
The park is opened every second and fourth weekend of each month and has an entry and riding fee. The riding fee is charged, if you use the truck in the bog pit. 4×4 vehicles are permitted in the park every second weekend of the month, as both weekends are open to other smaller vehicles or dirt bikes.
The actual type of the park is a swamp with an elevation of 190 to 200 ft/58 to 61 m. Parks’ features are amazing and you will come across everything an off road park should have. Loose dirt, hard pack, sand, mostly mud, rocks, many trees, many water crossings and a few berms complete this spectacular park.
Hazards are few and assumed to be marked. Still drive with caution though. The terrain is mostly suitable for novices, some amateurs and little experts. In order to fully enjoy the dirt, it is recommended to spend the entire day at the park.
