There are virtually no anchors or bolting in the park, making it a traditional climbing location. Climbing difficulty ranges from easy class 4 scrambling to 5.12 overhanging and roofs. The park is open from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. / May 1 through Sept. 30 and from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. / Oct. 1 through April 31. Last but not least, in order to have access to Palisades State Park, an entrance fee is required year-round.
