Bjorkliden lies at 250 km/155 mi inside the Arctic Circle. It's one of the world's northernmost ski resort where modern ski has been born.

The world’s northernmost ski resort, where trends arise and legends are born. It’s a magnificent experience to crawl into primitive rocks, and discover ancient paths to the wilderness of the rocky caves in the area. See the everlasting stalagmites and stalactites, the river, and explore the cave halls with the communicating brooks of the nearby mountains. The Kappasjokk cave system offer narrow passages, halls and underground waterfalls. Its length is about at 2300 m/7545 ft, the 5th longest cave in Sweden.

Organize group excursions with the guidance of qualified instructors. You can snowmobile all the way to the cave, and if reaching by sledging is impossible, you go on foot until the entrance for an underground adventure. This cave requires crawling in tight passages with little space, but otherwise its a quite easy cave for everyone.

Use high boots or hiking boots, all other equipment is provided by the resort (flashlight, torch etc). The tour is about 3.5 hours, and the minimum age is 10 years old.
