Reitbahnsee is a lake only at 2 km/1 mi away from the downtown of Neubrandenburg, in north Germany. Due to the really beautiful placement and the several facilities, this place is famous for the water-sport options it offers, especially wakeboarding.
Each year many relevant events are being organised with the participation of German and other European wakeboarders. Seven different constructions in the lake guarantee your entertainment.
At first, there is a 14.8 m/48.6 ft long straight-box, a 13 m/42 ft long slider and two kickers of different size. Then, you will come through an extra large fun-box, which is 16.2 m/53.2 ft long and an a-frame with a wider table, which is 1.75 m/5 ft high. Finally, there is a bigger slider, 20 m/65 ft long, constructed like a dragon which means there is another increase when you are ready to take off.
Every experienced wake-boarders may jump backwards in every corner of the lift line but it is forbidden to jump before and under the engine pole. The use of helmets and life jackets is required and you will find on the spot, both equipment shop and courses for several ages.
Moreover you will find there various restaurant, playground, camping place and a beach-volley court.
