All Kiters
Victoria is the second-smallest state of Australia. It faces New South Wales to the north and Tasman Sea to the east. The unique combination of spectacular coastline, pristine beaches, numerous national parks, dense forests and mountains attract visitors all year long and offer a plethora of activities to sport lovers. Melbourne, Victoria's state capital and one of the most populous cities in Australia, lies on the Yarra River and around the shores of Port Phillip Bay.

St Kilda is a suburb of Melbourne at about 6 km/4 mi in the southeast of Melbourne’s CBD (Central Business District). St Kilda beach is a very famous location not only for the several festivals and events, but also for the several water-sports, including sailing, kite-surfing, windsurfing, and skydiving. The best wind direction is from the south, southwest. The spot is appropriate for beginners and advanced kiters alike.

St Kilda beach is very crowded with novice kiters learning on the water, so more experienced kiters prefer the sheltered area, a little further down. The site provides with many schools for lessons, in case you need. Finally, if you get tired of struggling with the waves, you can also explore the highlights of Melbourne and immerse yourself in the beauty of the city.
