Victoria is the second-smallest state of Australia. It faces New South Wales to the north and Tasman Sea to the east. St Kilda beach is a very famous location not only for the several festivals and events, but also for the several water-sports, including sailing, kite-surfing, windsurfing, and skydiving. The best wind direction is from the south, southwest. The spot is appropriate for beginners and advanced kiters alike.

St Kilda beach is very crowded with novice kiters learning on the water, so more experienced kiters prefer the sheltered area, a little further down.
