Zirou Lake lies near the town of Filippiada, Epirus. Nowadays, the location is known not only as an area of great natural beauty, but also as an important wetland, rich in fish and aquatic organisms. The adventure begins from the southeast side of the lake. The route is circular and leads back to the starting point. Note that, the spot accommodates both beginners and advanced kayakers of reasonable fitness. All you need to bring is a swimsuit, a second pair of running shoes and a towel, as everything else is provided by the schools.
