Salzburg is the capital of the federal state of Salzburg and the fourth largest city in Austria. Salzburg is situated on the banks of the Salzach River at the northern boundary of the Alps. Salzburg is very famous as it is the birth place of the 18th century famous composer Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. Except from that, Salzburg is also known for its big sporting activity.
Leogang Bikepark is situated at about an hour in the southwest of Salzburg. It opened its gates in 2001 and is one of the best parks in Europe. There are many trails at that park where you can practice a lot of bike sports. One of them standing as the best for Mountain Biking North Shore is Lumberjack Trail.
The trail was completed in 2012 and has a gigantic wall ride and a whole group of logs and north shore ladders that include a range of different sized drops. All of these and even more are waiting for Mountain Bikers from all over the world! You will find Lumberjack Trail between the Flow Master and the 4-Cross, above the Valley Station.
The lines are all different in order to suit your needs. There are ample north shore ladders and slight logs with curves and little gaps between. Another thing making the trail ideal is its training drops. The scope is between 2 ft (0.5 m) and 15 ft (5 m) long.
The rainbow bridge will provide you with a lot of speed for the big sized wall ride. In the middle of the Lumberjack Trail is a rest area where you can catch your breath in-between races and jumps! If you want to enjoy perfectly fitted challenges, Lumberjack Trail is waiting for you.
