At 5 km/3.1 mi away from Durban, there is an amazing mountain biking experience. The spot is within the Kenneth Stainbank Nature reserve and has become very popular among mountain bikers.
Characterized by single tracks, roots, rocks and jeep-tracks, it is suitable for older children with some single track experience. The trail is a 9 km/5.5 mi long circuit route, lasting between 1-2 hours, depending on whether one chooses to tackle with some technical areas.
Biking is an all year round adventure, however it is always advisable to ride in groups for safety reasons.
