In this tandem dive, you’re securely harnessed to a certified instructor and though you will learn how to exit the aircraft, maneuver your body, deploy your parachute and pilot your landing, the instructor will be attached to you, so you will not have to worry about doing something wrong. Plus you can ask for some exciting turns or flips, which can only be done by advanced skydivers.
As for those of you, who want to become licensed solo skydivers, you can start your ground training of 5-6 hours and make your jump on the same day. By then you’ll know how to activate your parachute, maintain a stable body position in the air and have altitude awareness. Even so, two instructors will jump with you to make sure you have a safe landing. The dive itself lasts about 7 minutes, but the experience lasts for a lifetime!!!
