If you find yourself at the Sierra, you should definitely try hot air ballooning. It is a one of a lifetime experience in the Sierra Sunrise. Mammoth Balloon Adventures will also take care of your ground transport with a 4-WD jeep ride.
You can flight in the sunrise, only when the air is cool and the weather conditions are calm early in the morning. Balloons can take from one to six passengers. Don’t worry about your safety, because pilots and balloons are both FAA certificated, insured and licensed.
Upon arrival, you can help to unload the wicker basket. After following the necessary instructions, the balloon rises from its prone position. During winter months, snowmobiles are used to ferry the basket and deflated balloon across the meadow to the waiting vehicle.
