Wind Surfing in Crescent City Harbor, Crescent City, California USA

Weather:
Cold
Crescent City Harbor is located in the south end of Crescent City, on Anchor Way of Highway 101, Del Norte County, California, USA.

It offers charter fishing, tackle shops, restaurants, boat ramps and scenic trips. Windsurfing is popular near the harbor. The beach there offers dramatic and majestic scenery in such a way that is different from any other beach in the world. It is any writer’s dream to depict such a beauty in his/her novels.

The weather is kind of cold to sunbathe, but in front of the view of pounding surf and wide expanse of sand which is so incredible, getting tanned doesn’t seem that much important. Wildlife is one of the best assets of the beach. If you walk on the trail, you observe seals and brown pelicans, enjoying feeding in the surf, dolphins, whales and twice yearly pods of gray whales, traveling across Del Norte coastline.

Surf on the beach near Crescent City Harbor is bigger, so windsurfers find it better to surf there.
