Anapa is a town situated in the Kray of Krasnodar, on the northern coast of the Black Sea near the Sea of Azov.

Due to its location, Anapa is an attraction to everyone who loves the sea and especially water sports. The city of Anapa and particularly Anapa – Vitjazevo, one of its beaches, is extremely popular in the general area as a wind surfing spot.

Also known as wind surfing base, Anapa – Vitjazevo has everything a beach should have, in order to please the insane windsurfers who want to conquer the waves.

The beach is very difficult to find, so it is suggested to carry some kind of GPS device, if you don’t want to get lost on the coastline. The spot quality is standard and it is accessible almost any time, as the wind blows from many different directions.

The best wind direction is from the northeast and north though.You should be very careful, as there is strong current in the area. Besides that, the spot is world class concerning waves and is perfect for styles of wave, freestyle, freeride, long distance and speed wind surfing.

Another asset of the spot is that it provides amenities, such as camping, hotels, wind surfing schools and repair shops. The beach is very crowded, so be prepared to find other flying athletes around you. Some of the dangers are rocks and man made dangers, such as buoys.

Nevertheless, it is a great beach, ideal for windsurfing, something that makes this spot a must go wind surfing destination!
