Bukovel is a well-known ski resort, located in the Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast (province) of western Ukraine. It is also located at only 30 km / 18.6 mi in the west of Yeremca. It is a popular ski resort, attracting many people from all over the world.

Bukovel Ski Resort is a point destination that you shouldn’t miss to visit. It is located almost on the ridge-lines of the Carpathian Mountains and offers a base elevation of 900 m/ 3000 ft and a top elevation of 1370 m / 4449 ft. This famous and challenge ski resort invites all snowboarding enthusiasts to become one with this perfect snow environment.

Thanks to its  top elevation, Bukovel Ski Resort is the second highest ski resort in Ukraine after Dragobrat. Until now, the resort offers 57 trail, however, plans for expansion are in the pipeline in order for the resort to reach counting more than 278 km / 172.74 mi long of trails and 35 additional trails.

These extra features would  make this resort one of the 20 largest ski resort in the world. As it is the Ukraine’s only European Class Resort, it offers high speed chair lifts, well-groomed slopes and snowmaking machines. Whether you are a veteran or novice of snowboarding, here you can enjoy your activity with the vengeance. For beginners, there is a separate slope, where they can hone their skills.

For intermediate and experts of snowboarding, there are several trials with challenging features. If you are one of those who need something more romantic, you can exercise your activity at night from 5:00 to 8:00 pm. Amenities such as ski school, rental shops, children’s playground, sauna, fitness club, and numerous hotels and restaurants on the spot are readily available.
