Despite the mountainous landscape, the climate is considered to be continental, with fairly warm summers and temperatures that can reach up to 25°C/77°F, and cold winters with frequent snowfalls.
Intermediate and advanced skiers and snowboarders can enjoy the ultimate activity of heli-skiing. You will be transferred by helicopter to untouched mountain terrains: Centaur Peaks, Dragonfly and Triple Peaks, the magnificent Mount Cook Region and Mountain Tyndall.
Enjoy a great variety of trails for intermediate to expert runners. At the end of each trail, the helicopter will pick you up and transfer you to the next skiing/snowboarding terrain. Don’t forget to bring your sunglasses with you!
