Bali is a province in Indonesia with a few neighboring islands including the Isle of Bali. The island of Bali lies at about 8 degrees/ 0.13 radians on the south of equator and at 3.2 km/1.9 mi from Java. It is surrounded by coral reefs with white sand beaches on the south and black sand beaches on the north and the west of the island.
Wind through deep valleys, pass Balinese Hindu shrines, see monkeys playing, or even catch the odd farmer walking his cow to the river for some water, by taking the Ayung River scenic white water rafting route. The heart throbbing rafting adventure kicks off when you launch into the 9.2 km/5.7 mi long stretch of river, taking you to the foothills of the sacred Mount Ayung and navigate through torrents, twists and turns.
The rafting experience offers the best river runs, dramatic drops and thundering waterfalls with 33 class 2 and 3 rapids set to an aura of unspoilt rainforest, gorges and amazing rice paddies. White water rafting here is open to all, whether you are a novice or experienced. What is more, there is a team of professional guides who will pilot the raft, hence safety is not something to worry about. Normally the rafting tour will take approximately 2 hours.
