The Rhino and Lion Nature reserve is set right in the heart of the Cradle of Humankind, just at 40 km/25 mi from Johannesburg. Apart from the wildlife, it is home to the amazing Wonder Cave, which is believed to be over 2.2 billion years. The spot covers an area of 125 m/410 ft long and 154 m/505 ft wide. The cave offers caving at its best conditions with optional abseils, tight squeezes and narrow passages.
It hosts approximately 14 stalactite and stalagmite formations up to 15 m/49 ft high and still growing.
