Nauset Light Beach is a nice surfing spot in Cape Cod, ideal for weekend getaways.

Best time to visit during the day is in the evening, when most of the crowd has scattered. It is suitable for all levels of experience and most of the people visit this spot for surfing, but you can see people windsurfing and kitesurfing as well. The beach is easily accessible and there is a lot of accommodation and restaurants close by to Eastham.

The wind most of the times comes from west or northwest. The best swell direction is Southeast, East and Northeast. Good wind direction is Northwest and West. The swell begins to build from 1 m-1.5 m/3 ft-4 ft and can reach up to 3 m+/9 ft+. Best time to visit is early fall and winter.

The water is really cold but it’s worth it. Most of the times you will find good winter swell and few people around.
