Thorp Mountain Trail is located on the Central Cascade Mountain, at the Wenatchee National Forest and starts from Cle Elum Lake. It is 15mi/24km long and has an elevation gain of 2800ft/853m. You can walk part of the trail in one day or walk it all the way, which will take you about two days out and back.
The trail is open for snowshoeing from December through late March. It is ideal for more experienced snowshoers and for those who plan to spend the night on the mountain, they must be very well equipped with low temperatures camping gear.
