Wenatchee is the largest city of Chelan County, located in North Central Washington and lies on the west side of the Columbia River. The city is also known as the Apple Capital of the world, due to the valley's many apple cultivations.
Lake Wenatchee is located in the Wenatchee National park, at about 40 min away from the main town. The river starts from the lake and ends at Tumwater Campground. The run is 16.5 mi/26 km long, with a class 2 difficulty level for normal flows and range from 400 to 15000 c.f.s.
The river is great for intermediate rafting enthusiasts, because you will come across a few class 2 rapids, sandstone ledges and high cliffs. The nature around you is amazing as you run through some remote sections of the river.
