Gloyd Seeps Wildlife Area is protected by the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife. It is an amazing landscape of colourful birds and wildflowers. The trail is 3.5mi/5.6km long, out and back, a two to three hours hike, with minimal elevation gain.
The trail from the South side, leads you to a network of smaller trails towards the east side of Crab Creek. The small ponds are full of life and during autumn, duck hunters are all over the place. If you visit during spring, the variety of the blooming wildflowers is amazing. There is a lot of exploring to do and many interesting wildlife animals and plants to discover.
This place is perfect for those into birdwatching and photography. You can hike this area, all year round, but the best time to visit is during spring. Gloyd Seeps South Trail, is an interesting and rewarding hike for nature enthusiasts, suitable for all skill levels.
