Whiskey Dick Wildlife Area is the land with the most amazing variety of wildflowers in the state. The trail is 8 mi/12 km long, out and back, about six hours hike, with minimal elevation gain. There are two trails you can follow. The first trail leads you along a long ridge across Whiskey Dick Mountain while the second one leads you to the bottom of Rocky Coulee.
Both trails will give you the opportunity to admire a wide carpet of blooming wildflowers and many wild animals. It is possible to see or hear coyotes hunting all around this coulee country.
