Sintra is located near Lisbon, the capital city of Portugal. Sintra has been listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site because of its 19th-century ravishing architecture and landscapes.

It has become a major tourist center, visited by people from all around the world. It’s dominated by precipitous mountains and fascinating forests. Moorish castle and Pena palace are great reasons to visit Sintra. If you don’t want to be a rock star, but a rock climber, then Sintra gives you the chance to do it. In the heart of the natural park of Sintra you can rock climbing.

The level of difficulty is low to high, it depends on your desire. The routes you can follow are about 50. The heights are 10- 50 m/32-164 ft and the difficulty is ranged between III to 7c. It is a top rope and lead climbing.

Some routes are not equipped, but you can easily access them by climbing top rope. The height of the cliff is approximately 165 m/541 km. Desnivel adventure association can help with the rock climbing, the only thing you should do is to let you self explore the magic and the mystery of a rock.
