Wild Coast surroundings offer amazing outdoor adventures, Morgan Bay is one such place with sea cliff rock climbing. The routes at this spot are generally scattered and graded at 10-27. General configuration of delorite rock is rough with routes following definite crack line and mainly vertical.
There are 7 bolted routes with most of the trad lines, able to be top -roped incase it is required. Classics here include “Ticket to Ride”, “The Carnival is Over” and easy “Block Head”. Rock climbing is an all year round activity with mild winters and summers can afford some shaded crags.
Rainy seasons are not an issue since the crags dry up quickly. Some of the things to look out for when choosing a climbing section on the sea cliff is the tide as well as big waves…and always wear a helmet…loose rocks can be nasty!!!
